The first swallow from the new album „Markéta“ is single „Dancing“, which has been played on Czech radios over a month. The best musicians of the present Czech scene worked on the album containing twelve songs.
Names such as Ondřej Ruml (X Factor finalist), David Landštof (worked e.g. with Lenka Dusilová, Michal Hrůza, Toxique, Druhá Tráva, Aneta Langerová, etc.), rapper from N.Y. Nironic (Dara Rolins, Living Colour, Cherryhill, Indy and Wich), Dalibor Cidlinský jr. (Aneta Langerová, Jaromír Nohavica), Jan Cidlinský (Aneta Langerová), Honza Hladík, Matouš Kubáček – guarantee quality music.
All songs were composed exclusively for Markéta. The album was produced by Dalibor Cidlinský jr. and Petr Chmela.
High requirements for herself and perfectionism are the reasons why album „Markéta“ is released with a slight delay against the announced date (the album was launched on April 8, 2008 in Lucerna, Prague, as a part of joint tour of Markéta and Petr Bende).
Markéta herself says about the album recording:
„We tried to get maximum out of us. I am a nit-picker and I also want to offer a perfect experience to the listeners." Adding:
„It will perhaps surprise many, but the Markéta album is completely different from the previous one and I hope the audience will appreciate it".
Markéta Poulíčková, who decided to return to her name (formerly L.B.P.), does not idle at all. She is finishing her „Dancing“ video, returned from a successful promotion tour of Poland (including introduction of previous album “Story of Life” in the market and TV and radio shows), is getting ready for a big role in a new musical, but also for concerts in the Czech Republic and abroad.
